Nyx is daughter to Chaos. Mother to Hypnos. She is the Goddess of night, Goddess of darkness, Goddess of the great darkness that preceeded all creation. She is extremely powerful and highly feared. Zeus consults her and she speaks from her own oracles in stygian caves.
